About G Squared

G Squared was established in 1996 by Mark Gajewski in response to a need for good design (see GOOD DESIGN Award). Taking a fresh approach to design G Squared challenges existing solutions and provides unique alternatives that leapfrog the competition. G Squared sells products designed by Mark Gajewski as well as selected outstanding designs by others. We welcome retail customers as well as professional customers - architects, designers and others. Our ceiling fans are manufactured by Minka Aire to the highest standards and have limited lifetime or 25 year (for wet location listed fans only) warranties. The San Francisco, Acero, Flyte, Magellan, Airus, Como, Gyro, Cirque, Gauguin, 1950's, Espacio I, Espacio II, and Artemis fans were designed by Mark Gajewski. Currently we carry lighting products by Artemide of Italy and Marset and Carpyen of Spain. We have selected these manufacturers based on the excellent quality of some of their designs. We will continue to expand the number of various kinds of products designed by Mark Gajewski and manufactured under license by quality companies. Our goal is simple: to design and sell the best designs in the world.

GOOD DESIGN remains the oldest and most important design competition worldwide, attracting thousands of entries from nearly 50 countries annually The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design historic GOOD DESIGN program was founded in Chicago in 1950 by Edgar J. Kaufmann, Jr. with the participation of some of America's most important designers: Eero Saarinen, Charles and Ray Eames, Alexander Girard, George Nelson, Florence Knoll, Harry Bertoia, Finn Juhl, and Russel Wright - the pioneering greats of American and modern design.
