Concept I Indoor/Outdoor Ceiling Fan

Simple and practical, the Concept I fan is easy to assemble and install. It is UL Wet Location approved and is ideal for patios, screened rooms, and other indoor/outdoor areas.

Step 1 Select the finish

Please choose the finish of the fan. The blades as shown in the pictures below are always included in a sealed box with the fan. You will get a chance to add optional blades in Step 4 below.

Step 2 Select the downrod length based on your ceiling height

This fan is OK for standard 8 foot ceilings. Optional downrods are available for high ceilings. To calculate the distance from the ceiling to the bottom of the blades, add the length of the downrod to the dimension on the right of the diagram. For safe blade height subtract this distance from the height of your ceiling at the point where the fan will be mounted and make sure that it is at least 84 inches (7 feet).

Step 3 Select optional accessories

The hand held remote will operate the fan independently of the wall switch: if you choose it the wall switch will not have to be installed. If your ceiling slope is greater than 30 degrees but less than 45 degrees you will need the slope adapter to install the fan.

Both wall mount and hand held controls work by sending RF signals to receiver in fan – no need for third wire when wiring for fan

Downrods:
Fan comes standard with 3 1/2” and 6” downrods – length to bottom of fan is 15" with 3 ½" downrod and 17 ½” with 6” downrod (good for 8 foot ceilings)
Longer accessory downrods are available at additional cost in 12”, 18”, 24”, 36”, 48”, 60”, and 72” lengths
Downrods cannot be added together or cut to fit
Sloped ceiling adapter kit is available for ceilings with slopes between 30 and 45 degrees at additional cost
